CANADIAN STUDENT LOAN INFORMATION
All Canadian students are eligible to apply for financial assistance through the Canada Student Loan Program. The actual amount of assistance received though this program will vary depending on individual family circumstances and province of residence. In some provinces, including the Atlantic Provinces, students who receive maximum funding though the Canada Student Loan Program will have sufficient funds to cover the cost of their entire academic year.
When to Apply
If you plan to apply for a Canada Student Loan, please apply by July 15th to ensure that your loan document will be available by Registration Day.
Where to Apply
Students are required to apply for their Canada Student Loan from the province where they have resided for the last 12 consecutive months.

All provinces encourage students to apply online at their website. Read the application and instructions carefully to ensure that you provide all the required information. If you do not have access to the online application, please contact the Student Services Department from your province indicated below.
